5 Days Marrakech Desert Tour

The extended 5 days Marrakech desert tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech at 08:00 am by your expert driver/guide before embarking on an interesting journey to the deep south of Morocco. Have a nice drive across the Atlas Mountains with its Berber Villages that are built-in adobe and stone offering panoramic views for taking memorable shots.

Cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260 m), then have a guided walking tour around the Ait Benhaddou Village which is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. It was a commercial center in the former caravan route that used to link Marrakech with the Great Sahara.

After lunch, we will head further southeast to the Dades Valley driving through Skoura and the Valley of Roses.

After breakfast, our 5 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will lead us to the impressive Todra Gorges (Canyons) where we will stretch our legs while enjoying the immense beauty of nature.

After lunch, we will head to the Merzouga desert passing by Erfoud, which is known for fossil polishing with the possibility to make a visit to a local factory to form an idea of how the process takes place.

Upon arrival in the majestic sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will leave the car and go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the breathtaking views of the sunset. Get to the desert camp where you will be served a delicious meal for dinner in a romantic setting before culminating the day with a nice sleep in your private ensuite tent.

You will wake up in the morning to the wonderful, enjoy breakfast in the camp, then camel ride back to the hotel. After cooling off your shower, we will begin the special day to discover the desert by browsing desert villages and visit the nomadic families to enjoy mint tea with nomads and see how they live their lives, after we break the former coal mine, then black village people (Original are slaves) who played the authentic spiritual music, after we passed through the center of Merzouga, then in the afternoon will be free to enjoy the silence and relax in one of the hotel pool. Dinner and overnight at the desert hotel.

After breakfast, we will continue our 5 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga by driving through Alnif and the wonderful scenery of Draa Valley of the Anti-Atlas mountains. Break for lunch in the village of N'kob at a local restaurant with panoramic old, after we will cross Agdez. then night Ouarzazate.

• Overnight accommodation in a comfortable Riad/hotel in Ouarzazate including dinner & breakfast.

The last day of our 5 days desert trip from Marrakech will entail visiting the famous Atlas Film Studios, which have turned the region of Ouarzazate into a backdrop for shooting many Hollywood Movies including Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, and many others.

We will continue on the track by crossing the Atlas Mountains over the Tizi n'Tichka (2260 m) before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon marking the end of our 5 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert.
